Logan Basic Technique
Dr. Pala is known for practicing a gentle, low force, chiropractic technique called Logan Basic. The doctor uses very slight pressure (sometimes referred to as acupressure) on specific trigger points. This technique is very effective in treating children with a variety of health concerns including ear infections, vertigo, or scoliosis. Many fibromyalgia patients appreciate the doctor’s gentle approach to treating chronic muscle pain.
Logan Basic Technique is also helpful for patients who have had spinal surgery. The doctor treats many patient who have had spinal fusions of the neck and the low back.
Activator Method

Dr. Shawn M. Pala receives Proficiency Rating in Activator Method
January 1, 2020 Noblesville, Indiana – Activator Methods International has announced that Dr. Shawn M. Pala has achieved an Advanced Proficiency Rating in the Activator Method Chiropractic Technique for calendar year 2020. Such an achievement is a reflection of Dr. Pala’s significant commitment of time and energy to complete Activator’s rigorous continuing education program. The designation also places Dr. Pala in an elite class of chiropractic physicians who are expertly trained in the world’s number-one instrument adjusting technique.
In order to receive a Proficiency Rating, a doctor must attend an Activator seminar and then successfully complete written and practical examinations. The rating is valid for one year, and the doctor must continue his training annually in the Activator Method to maintain this status.
Dr. Pala has been practicing the Activator Method at Pala Chiropractic in Noblesville, Indiana for 9 years.
